Originally trained in the UK and worked as a Specialist MSK Physiotherapist. Dom's experience lies in working with people who have neurological, orthopaedic or rheumatology problems.
This includes people that suffer with persistent pain problems such as chronic regional pain syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and axial or peripheral spondyloarthropathies. Mild traumatic brain injuries include concussion or vestibular issues. Other neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, Stroke rehabilitation or spinal and nerve injuries. Orthopaedic injuries include muscle, joint and ligament injuries for people of all ages and abilities. He has a particular interest in back pain, hip and lower limb injuries. But is just at ease working with neck, shoulder and elbow pains too.
Grounded in evidence-based practice, he aims to expertly work with his patients to reach their goals as quick as possible. Individualized treatment may involve the use of a combination of exercise and manual techniques to move better and feel better. He has developed mentoring programmes and teaching for other physiotherapists and continues to do this.
